The design of an interior is not only vases, mirrors and fixtures. Interior design is the process of shaping the impression of interior space, through the spatial manipulation and surface treatment.

 Interior design is an art of analysis and synthesis i.e. analyzing Space, Psychological, Stylistic and Technical points and then - putting pieces together to manipulate with architectural and functional wholeness. It is concerned with everything inside a space such as the doors, walls, textures, windows, finishes, furnishings, light, furniture, etc., as well as with the view from the windows, sunshine directions and many other factors.

And all that are used by interior designer to create purposeful, ambient and aesthetically pleasant space.

Interior decoration – is a “final touch” in the process. While interior design can engage wall shifting or demolishing to create different space plan, changing floor tiles onto wooden floor etc. – interior decorating working mostly with colors and “movable assets” such as curtains, paintings, vases, light fittings and so on. Although it is very difficult to draw the exact line between those two sometimes.
